Tryouts for the 2025 season will take place the week of March 3rd for all grades and levels. During tryouts players will be evaluated on their baseball skills, attitude, effort, and cohesion within the team and baseball program. At the end of the week, the coaching staff will meet with each player and inform them of their status in the program and provide feedback. 

The Patriot Baseball program is a cut sport; however, we pride ourselves in giving every player the opportunity to play and participate in the program if they have the right mindset, drive, and determination. 

The 2025 baseball season runs from the first week of March to at late as the first weekend in June. Please visit the 2025 page for a outline of the baseball schedules for all levels. 

The Patriot Baseball program partakes in off-season workouts from September through February. These programs consist of weight training, conditioning, and baseball skill work 3-4 days a week. All players are encouraged to attend as long as it does not interfere with any fall or winter sport they are participating in. Please visit the 2025 page for an outline of when these workouts take place. 

All Patriot Baseball players are required to attend practices and games during Spring Break week. 

The Varsity team will practice at the start of Spring Break week then will participate in the Saint Charles West tournament which begins that Friday. 

The Junior Varsity and Freshman teams will practice Wednesday through Saturday of Spring Break. 

Freshman: 25-30

Junior Varsity: 25-30

Varsity: 30-35 (plus the state playoffs)

All levels of the Patriot Baseball program will practice or play games Monday through Saturday during the season. If you are unable to attend a practice or a game, please be sure to notify your coach in advance. 

Each player will be required to provide their own:

• Cleats, Turfs (or tennis shoes) to use in our indoor and outdoor cage facilities, socks, white pants, gray pants (VARSITY ONLY!), blue helmet, blue belt, 
• Bat (drop 3 is required by MSHSAA guidelines), glove(s), catchers equipment (if applicable)

As a part of their player fee ($125), each player will receive:

• Helmet decal
• Practice shorts
• Practice shirt (short and long sleeve)
• Freshman and Junior Varsity: Jersey (to keep)
• Varsity Players: Varsity hat
• Patriot Baseball hoodie
• Baseball Hat

Players will also be given the following for the season:

• Level specific jersey(ies)
• Jaeger bands (for arm care)
